BEYH Royale is a time-honoured beverage served as a welcome drink to guests at the court of the Johore Royalty (of the Commonwealth State of Johore in Malaysia) during the reign of HRH Sultan Sir Abu Bakar Ibni Al-Marhum Temenggong Daeng Ibrahim, Sri Maharaja of Johore (1833-1895).

Its original recipe came from the late HRH Sultanah Khatijah, consort to HRH Sultan Sir Abu Bakar. It later came to be in the possession of her sister Datin Roquarya Hanim and later to Datin Salamah, whom were both the wives of Johore's first Chief Minister. The brew was later awarded by Datin Salamah to Puan Hajjah Rahmah (known affectionately as Endau) and later to her daughter Puan Khurshiah wha later refined it.

BEYH Royale is patiently brewed using the various richly aromatic spices that were found in abundance throughout the State of Johore, then a centre of spice culturation in Malaysia.

Made with sweet scented cinnamin, pungent cardamon, spicy cloves and star anise, citney kaffir lime and tropical pandan leaves, this once lost treasure has been rediscovered and is now made available for your drinking pleasure.
